Longstanding client asked for upgrade assistance on their dust collection ductwork. Excess sawdust was becoming an issue and hazard that caused increased cleaning time that cut into their production schedule. Yes was our answer as we have connected many machines to dust collection systems.

Working alongside our duct supplier on the design concept and supply list, we came up with a plan. Verified that the dust collector capacity was sufficient for the new layout, inventoried clients current ductwork on-site, ordered new ductwork, and set a date for the installation.

End result was another cost-effective project for a satisfied client. Redesigned ductwork increased the flow of the dust collection system which helped the machinery run properly. Proper suction allows machines to leave less dust, less dust leads to less cleaning time and increased production time. Additional project cost savings were achieved by utilizing current installed ductwork pieces into the new design.
