This client came to us with specifications in hand for a non-contact cleaning application for their new facility. They needed clean and dry compressed air with low oil carry over, low noise, low maintenance, all in a compact footprint. We had the perfect brand and compressor for them.

The Mattei Blade series of rotary vane air compressors was the solution. Mattei airends rotate slower than other types of compressors and their blades slide frictionless on a thin film of oil which ensures complete reliability and reduced energy consumption. Mattei machines have fewer moving parts than other compressors and as the rotor runs on bushes, it has a virtually unlimited lifespan. The rotary vane technology ensures high quality compressed air, an extremely compact airend, and low noise levels (62 dB(A)). All combined with undisputed product reliability for any application.

The Mattei Blade 5 (7.5 HP) was the selected machine with built in refrigerated air dryer including moisture separator with intelligent condensate drain, 1 micron prefilter, all mounted and piped onto an 80 gallon horizontal ASME air receiver tank and ran by the MaestroXB user-friendly programmable controller.

This system was packaged with Food Grade oil and three more stages of after filtration for proper air purification. Particulate and coalescing 1 micron and 0.01 micron filters along with a final activated carbon filter for reduced hydrocarbons, odors, and oil vapors.

The anti-corrosive, lightweight, and versatile Infinity brand aluminum system was used for the compressed air piping to complete this project.
